PHOTOVOLTAIC INSTALLATION FOR LAVOLA

LAVOLA

Photovoltaic Installation for Lavola

This installation has been carried out on a galvanized steel structure on the roof of the building. This material was chosen so that the galvanized steel provides greater protection against corrosion. When dealing with structures that will go outdoors, the choice of material for the supports was a key point. Furthermore, this material was chosen because it does not require specific maintenance and has high durability.

The complexity of the installation was also a challenge. The works began in June and were completed in August. Typically, these types of installations take a month to complete. About 12 people have worked throughout the process and the cost has been around € 30,000.

Some figures

The installation consists of 28 solar panels of 345Wp. In total they cover approximately 120m2. This supposes a total peak generation power of the panels of 9.6kWp. And a nominal generating power of the inverter of 9kWp. The estimated energy that these 28 plates will produce during one year will be 14,100kWh. This will mean a saving of 20% in energy consumption, since its current annual consumption is 67,948kWh.

In the environmental field, this photovoltaic installation will save more than 5 tons of CO2 emissions. With this action, the two companies reaffirm their commitment to respect the environment.

Being an energy efficiency project, Nergy Global Service encompasses all energy efficiency management and improvement projects. In addition, thanks to the experience of Nergy Global Services, it has been able to establish itself as an Energy Services Company (ESE).

Lavola is a pioneer company in the sustainability sector with more than 35 years of history. With offices in Manlleu and Barcelona; both buildings are certified LEED (USGBC) for sustainable building. We are currently working on modifying the climate circuit of the Manlleu building to install a new heat pump.
